Our project is a multi-year research initiative based in Qatar that explores how fertility preservation technologies, such as egg freezing, are understood, experienced, and ethically negotiated within social, religious, medical, and family contexts.

Our work combines research, community engagement, and knowledge sharing to ensure that findings are relevant not only to academia, but also to policymakers, healthcare providers, and families.

Over the course of the project, we will be:

  • Conducting interviews and surveys with women, couples, and healthcare professionals in Qatar

  • Organizing community forums and dialogues with researchers, clinicians, ethicists, and policymakers

  • Producing research reports, policy briefs, and public-facing resources

  • Hosting webinars, talks, and workshops for service providers and the wider community

  • Sharing updates, insights, and educational materials through this website

By grounding our work in lived experiences and community perspectives, we aim to support more informed, ethical, and context-sensitive approaches to reproductive health in Qatar and beyond.
